The INDICATE e-Culture Science Gateway, besides GARR IDEM, has been interfaced also with the CARSI (CERNET Authentication and Resource Sharing Infrastructure, Identity Federation established in China.

The project co-funded by the European Union in the 7th Framework Program starts on 1 December 2010 and will last for 24 months.

DC-NET e-infrastructure concertation meeting


The overall objective of the DC-NET concertation seminar is to identify and document common approaches and mechanisms how multinational projects and memory institutions with digital cultural heritage collections could gain access to individual e-infrastructure national representatives (NRENs) as well as to the resources managed by coordination initiatives such as GEANT and Grid platforms.

Towards a Future Internet: Interrelation between Technological, Social and Economic Trends


Building on an online survey and on several multidisciplinary workshops held in Brussels, at MIT in Boston and in Tokyo, the contractor will present and openly discuss the final findings, touching on the infrastructure, policy and regulatory aspects of the Future Internet and their societal and economic impact.
